Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris)

I'm particularly proud of this tree. When I saw it in the swampy ground of the New Forest it was a wimpy, sad-looking specimen. Eventually it was awarded second prize in the JAL World Bonsai Contest and won my son and I a trip to Japan.
