Q: How do I list an advertisement A: Once you have created your account, purchase sufficient tokens to cover the cost of your preferred advertisement duration (see below). Then click on the 'Dashboard' tab and then on the 'Add New Item' button at bottom right. Then just follow the on-screen prompts. You new account comes with 5 tokens for free. Q: How many images can I have in my advertisement? A: At present each advertisement is limited to four photographs. In the future we will introduce additional advertisement options that will allow more photographs to be uploaded. Q: How many words can I write in my advertisement? A: As many as you like. Currently there is no limit. Q: Can buyers see my email address? A: No. When a buyer contacts you it will be via our server and your personal email address will not be visible to them until you reply privately to their initial communication. Q: What is the minimum duration for an advertisement listing? A: One week. Q: What is the maximum duration for an advertisement listing? A: There is none! You can list your item for as long as you like, provided you have purchased enough tokens to cover the chosen duration. Q: If my item sells before my time is up do I get tokens back? A: Yes! We will return all unused complete tokens to your account as soon as you withdraw your advertisement (you MUST withdraw your advertisement first). Each token covers one week's listing, so if you book three weeks and your item sells after ten days, the third unused token will be refunded. If you book for two weeks and the item sells after ten days, there are no complete unused tokens so no refund can be made. Q: What are tokens? A: Using tokens enables us to manage international transactions and enables you to receive refunds to your account without running into additional banking or Paypal charges. One token = one week's advertisement listing. Q: How do I buy tokens A: Go to your dashboard and then click tokens on the sub tab. There you can choose how many tokens you would like to purchase. You will then be taken to Paypal to purchase them. Paypal will automatically redirect you back to Bonsaiforum where your account will be credited. Q: Is there a minimum number of tokens I must purchase? A: Yes, you must buy at least five tokens at a time. We offer generous discounts for purchases of 12 or more tokens. Q: Can I pay with a credit card? A: Yes and no! To keep your costs down we do not accept credit cards, only Paypal. However, Paypal will accept your payment with a valid credit or debit card. Q: Can I repost an item? A: Of course. However, if an item doesn't sell first time around, you may want to reconsider the price, reword the title or text, or supply new photographs. Q: Can I have multiple accounts? A: Yes, but you will need to register separately for each account using a different email address. Each email address can only be used for one account. Q: Can I change my user name? A: Yes. Click on the 'Dashboard' tab and then on the 'Profile' link. You can change all your information there. You will however need to choose a username that is not already taken. Q: How do I change my password? A: Click on the 'Dashboard' tab and then on the 'Password' link. You will need to enter your new passwprd twice. then click the 'submit' button. Q: Can I change my email address? A: Yes. Click on the 'Dashboard' tab and then on the 'Profile' link. You can change all your information there. Similar to usernames though, each email address can only be in the system once. Q: Can I transfer tokens between accounts? A: Not yet. We're working on that.
