Cutting started in 1983
21cm high - 12cm wide
Pot: Japanese

One of several cuttings that I took from a garden plant and allowed to grow in the ground for a seven or eight years before potting up. This plant originally had two trunks, one of which was air layered. The remaining trunk was tilted through 90 degrees and the exposed roots and stub of the layered trunk were caved into jins. A simple and useful technique for producing dramatic images.
