This 50 year-old azalea was dug from my garden soon after moving into my current home. It has flowered like this every year since, oblivious to the work that has been carried out on it. Azaleas are not very tolerant of dry roots, but this one requires watering less often than other trees of the same size, even though it is kept in full sun.
